Ciego de Ávila – The technical team at RENOVA SRL has successfully completed a new photovoltaic installation in the coastal area of Marlin Júcaro, Ciego de Ávila province, where salt spray (salitre) conditions impose special demands on electrical equipment.
The installed system consists of:
-
Srne 12kW inverter
-
20 bifacial panels
-
20 gel batteries, 12V 250 Ah each
The choice of gel batteries was not accidental: this type of battery offers greater resistance to salt spray corrosion, ensuring a longer service life and reliable performance in marine or coastal environments. Additionally, the bifacial panels capture radiation on both sides, maximizing generation even on cloudy days.
“Each project involves a deep technical analysis. In Marlin Júcaro, salt spray was a challenge, so we opted for gel batteries, which better withstand these conditions. Our team is prepared to adapt solutions to the client’s environment,” said a RENOVA SRL spokesperson.
With this installation, RENOVA SRL reaffirms its professionalism and ability to carry out installations anywhere in the country, even in harsh environments like the north coast of Ciego de Ávila.
