Marina Marlin in Cayo Paredón Grande and Cayo Guillermo already have solar photovoltaic systems installed by RENOVA S.R.L.

Coastal areas are ecosystems with a high level of vulnerability to climate change, especially in the cayes surrounding the island of Cuba. Therefore, all measures should be aimed at minimizing the negative impacts of human action on the environment, especially in the tourist facilities located there. What better way to protect the environment than through the use of renewable energies? In this sense, our team assembled and installed two solar photovoltaic systems (SPVS) for energy backup, one of 3 kWH at the rental point of the Marlin marina in Cayo Paredón Grande and another one that will generate 8 kWH at the Marlin marina in Cayo Guillermo. These two systems will generate 18.44 MWH annually, avoiding the emission of 11.39 tons of CO2 into the atmosphere and the burning of 4.92 tons of hydrocarbons.
Betting on renewable energies will make it possible to achieve sustainable tourism in Cuba. RENOVA S.R.L. will always be available to contribute, with its services, to this objective.
