Organized by the Renewable Energy Directorate of the Ministry of Energy and Mines (MINEM), the First Workshop on Renewable Energy Sources was held with the participation of executives from the Ministry, ONURE, the Chamber of Commerce of the Republic of Cuba, the University of Havana and several MSMEs related to this sector.
The meeting dealt with issues related to:
– Update of the Policy for the use of Renewable Energy Sources (FRE).
– Objectives and goals of the energy transition.
– National Group of Universities (GNUFRE). Possibilities and facilities for training.
– Presentation on the new provisions and regulatory documents.
– Certification process.
– Exchange on the standards associated with the FRE according to Cuban regulations.
Our company, through the Operations Advisor, Oscar Domenech Hernández, presented the results achieved in terms of services related to renewable energies, as well as short and medium term projections.
