Our help to Pinar del Río began very early by visiting the Federico Engels Vocational School being attended by the Administrative Deputy Director Ana Margarita Pérez Fuentes. This Educational Center that welcomes victims of Hurricane Ian, received part of the donation sent by our entity consisting of 100 sacks of rice and 20 sacks of beans; the support that RENOVA provided to help feed those families who are waiting there for the recovery of their damaged homes.
We continue with the delivery of 15 tanks to store water and 10 paint tanks that will benefit the population of Pinar del Río, a donation that Kble Color sent to this town; another Private Company from Camagüey that joined our commitment to the Society.
We finished with the most complex task, which was the delivery and installation of the photovoltaic pumping system with a JENENSERIES 500 W DC 48 V solar pump, to contribute to the water supply and to recovery actions for the damage caused. In this delivery, the Vivero Community in San Juan y Martínez was chosen, taking into account the complex situation that this community presents to obtain drinking water.
It was a difficult but not impossible task with the help of the residents and some representatives of the People’s Council, culminating with the exhausted team, but with the satisfaction of knowing the number of beneficiaries of this facility, about 1,288 people will be able to count on it! with access to water thanks to this work installed with Renewable Energy Sources! This figure represented enough pride and motivation for all the staff of our company, and with greater encouragement to continue undertaking and betting on the Future, Renewing with Clean Energies.
