Helping those most in need has been the premise of a group of entrepreneurs from the private sector who have joined forces in Camagüey to collaborate with those affected by the heavy rains that caused innumerable material losses to a large number of families. In this sense, donations were made to the Eduardo Agramonte Piña Pediatric Hospital and an evacuation center that houses people in vulnerable conditions. The donation consisted of food, toiletries and disposable diapers for children and adults. The gratitude for this altruistic gesture was expressed by the hospital’s Board of Directors and the management of the evacuation center, because, although the donation does not cover all the needs of those affected, it does help to alleviate their pain in the face of the damage suffered and it comforts their souls to know that there are people of solidarity who extend their hands in difficult times.
