As part of the Public Health Support Project carried out by RENOVA S.U.R.L., a donation was made to the Provincial Pediatric Teaching Hospital Dr. Eduardo Agramonte Piña, in Camagüey, consisting of 12 batteries of 14V/7Ah and 4 batteries of 12 V/18 Ah, which will be used for the energy backup of 6 high technology equipments that were unused for more than a year for this reason: 2 Digitalizers for imaging; 1 tissue processor; 1 cryostat for freezing and 2 chemical analyzers for clinical laboratory. This equipment is of great importance for the follow-up and timely diagnosis of various pathologies in children. With their implementation, the waiting time for diagnoses and the corresponding risks associated with the transfer of samples will be significantly reduced, since the lack of these means required the support of the technology installed in two other hospitals in the province. On behalf of the hospital staff, patients and their families, Dr. Leonardo Ramírez Rodríguez, Director of the center, expressed his gratitude for the donation made by the company and highlighted the great impact it will have on the medical care of infants.
