With the visit to the headquarters of RENOVA S.U.R.L. of representatives of the National Center for Seismological Research (Cenais), headed by Dr. Enrique Diego Arango Arias, Head of the national seismological service, the working alliances between both entities are strengthened, with the purpose of increasing the energy backup of their stations in the country through the use of renewable energies. -The seismological service in Cuba, due to the mission it fulfills, requires to be provided with uninterrupted energy backup,” said the specialist.
Founded in 1992, the National Center for Seismological Research has the mission of guaranteeing the monitoring and analysis of seismic activity in the Republic of Cuba, as an early warning system for earthquakes and tsunamis, providing this information to decision-making organisms.
