RENOVA S.U.R.L. promotes a high level of commitment and acceptance in favor of the use of renewable energies, taking into account the positive impact on the Cuban economy and society, reducing CO2 emissions, in addition to being an economical and inexhaustible energy.
The sustainability that betting on clean energy represents makes the difference, which is why we choose to consume what we offer, and thus lead by example, implementing the generation and use of 100% renewable energy at our headquarters.
If we talk about being totally sustainable, it means that we are capable of generating 100% of the energy we consume, and today, thanks to the investment made, all the energy comes from our solar panel system. This installation allows the saving of almost 100% in the consumption of electrical energy in addition to the environmental benefits. If we can translate our satisfaction into figures, we would be mentioning the following:
- We have a generation capacity of the set of Photovoltaic panels of: 29.88 kw.
- We have a power generation capacity of the inverters of: 24 kw.
- We have a battery backup capacity of 193 kWh.
In this case all that energy is savings.
- Energy generated in the year: 49,058 kWh per year.
- Energy consumed in the year: 42,648 kWh per year.
- Difference of 6,410 kWh per year.
- Representing savings from own generation of 120,000.00 CUP per year.
- If we can sell the surplus energy we could have an income of 11,603.00 CUP (1.81 kw).
In addition to the use of clean energy, RENOVA S.U.R.L. It also works for responsible consumption and the improvement of efficiency with complementary investments, such as the use of state-of-the-art technological equipment and 100% LED lighting in all areas of the company, which reduce consumption. These values demonstrate an improvement at the organizational level in the entity, helping to motivate and positively perceive workers and increasing their level of involvement, increasing efficiency and productivity; just as they make it possible for the company to save time and money.
