RENOVA one hundred percent committed to the recovery of Pinar del Rio

Approximately 700 kilometers of distance separate our headquarters in Camagüey, from the province of Pinar del Río recently hit by a powerful Hurricane Ian. But the distance that separates us only means one more number, compared to Renova’s hope of supporting this town that has suffered great material losses.

Preparations for the trip began early, providing 5 tons of rice and 2 tons of beans, food that will be delivered to the most complex locations after the atmospheric phenomenon passes. Also included in the donation was a photovoltaic pumping system with a 500 W DC 48 V JENENSERIES solar pump, 393 feet (120 meters) maximum head, 7.9 GPM (30 ltspm) flow, 3 /4 inch with MPPT controller float switch kit. This equipment will be installed to support the province’s water deficit, allowing the pumping of water using clean and non-polluting energy, in addition to the impact it will have on a community without using fossil fuels.

Another friendly hand in Camagüey, Mercantil KBLE Color joined Renova’s intention and provided 15 tanks for the storage of drinking water and 10 tanks with paints. Along with her, a TCP Reinier Quincoses carrier from Havana, will help us with the trip.

Four of our Specialists joined the trip, to carry out the food delivery in an agile way, and at the same time that the place where the Water Pumping System will go is selected, leave it installed and working so that this community that has suffered so much benefit.

We hope to arrive soon in Pinar del Río, and that this mission is just the continuation of many others.
